2021 saw the launch of the Rural Experience Weeks programme, generously funded by the Armed Forces Covenant Trust Fund at Bicton College in Devon.
Rural Experience Weeks focus on improving mental health and wellbeing. Rural Experience Weeks are delivered at a slow pace and the focus is on participation in activities including a walled garden experience, chainsaw maintenance and Emergency First Aid – all delivered at a leisurely pace
Course dates for 2022 are 24th to 29th July and 4th to 9th September
Attendance is secured by referral from one of our partner organisations including: RBLI, Poppy Factory, Project Nova, On Course Foundation, RMA The Royal Marines Charity, ASDIC, Step Together Volunteering, Officers Association, Supporting Wounded Veterans, Not Forgotten
