National initiatives provide FREE learning opportunities to the general public which includes veterans, Armed Forces personnel and their families. Many of these courses will provide entry level qualifications to a variety of employment sectors.
In addition, a number of bespoke courses specifically designed for military veterans are available and can enhance employment opportunities.

Working in conjunction with other Covenant funded projects to ensure the sharing of ideas, the partnership is committed to raising awareness of the Armed Forces Covenant and collective responsibility to deliver on the individual obligation of each partner Authority.
Free to access e-learning is available for all local authority and public sector staff, or anyone that is involved in providing services and would like to know more about the Armed Forces Covenant and the military community.
The course provides information about the Covenant and highlights some of the issues facing the forces community, offering guidance on how you can support them.
Bespoke versions of the course produced by Warwickshire County Council have been specifically adapted and made available to each local authority partner in the South West. The Warwickshire County Council version can be accessed on the MOD Covenant web site here.
Additionally, a programme of training courses, developed using the Forces Connect South East courses is available to provide and enhanced level of training to the e-module.
